As a software engineer in our Growth team, you'll be working at the intersection between engineering, marketing and business, driving initiatives that help Soundtrap reach more creators. You’ll contribute to initiatives focused on discoverability, acquisition, and conversion, using experimentation and data to understand how users engage with our product. If you are passionate about music and enjoy building and growing web products, you’ll find this role both fun and rewarding.

What you'll do
- Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team working closely with marketing and product.
- Participate in fast-paced experimentation to improve user understanding, conversion, and onboarding.
- Influence technical decisions within the team and collaborate with other engineers to drive alignment and best practices across Soundtrap.
- Work across a broad problem space through fast-paced experimentation. The team’s scope ranges from improving landing pages, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) & Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), building features for targeting marketing campaigns, evolving our pricing strategy, to optimizing the checkout funnel. The work is varied, dynamic, and consistently engaging.
- Build and evolve landing pages and content-driven experiences, working with CMS integrations to enable scalable and flexible content management.
- Grow with us and learn all there is to know on scaling a complex web application, both on the technical and business side.
Who you are
- You have a good understanding of modern web application architecture and hands-on experience delivering production systems at scale.
- You’re passionate about user experience and full-stack development, with solid experience in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, and a strong working knowledge of Java.
- You’re comfortable designing solutions, making trade-offs, and taking ownership from idea to production.
- You enjoy measuring user behaviour through experiments and using data to guide decisions.
- You communicate clearly, collaborate well across disciplines, and enjoy helping others grow.
- Experience with Content Management System (CMS) integrations, Dart, SEO, and AEO is a bonus.

- You can choose to work from our Stockholm office or remotely from any of the following countries: Sweden, France, Spain, or the UK. You must have a valid work permit for the country in which you plan to work.
