What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs powering GenAI-driven applications
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK) and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments
- Monitor and fine-tune performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product teams, and architects to ship high-impact features
- Work across a wide range of engineering challenges, from backend development to infrastructure and DevOps
- Focus on simplicity, clarity, and delivering meaningful outcomes, not complexity for its own sake
- Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and growing the engineering team
- Share ideas and best practices in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment

What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of Python development experience in production environments
- Strong experience building asynchronous APIs with FastAPI (or similar frameworks)
- Familiarity with distributed data tools (e.g. PySpark, Kafka) in production settings
- Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure best practices
- A pragmatic mindset, focused on creating elegant solutions to real-world problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and sharing knowledge
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript
- Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow
- Interest in mentoring, writing technical content, or improving developer tooling
