This role is ideal for a marketing and social media specialist passionate about music and digital branding. You will be responsible for elevating the online presence of a musician focused on 80s cover songs and authentic 80s-style video content, reimagined for today’s audiences. The position involves both strategic consulting and hands-on execution, including shaping the artist’s image, identifying the most effective social media platforms, and developing a tailored posting strategy to engage and grow a dedicated fanbase. You will provide honest, constructive feedback on creative ideas and ensure all marketing efforts align with the artist’s vision. The collaboration is fully remote, long-term, and based in Vienna, Austria, but open to candidates globally.

Deliverables

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to 80s music and video content
• Advise on brand positioning, image, and messaging to resonate with target audiences
• Identify and prioritize the most effective social media platforms for audience growth
• Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and video content across selected platforms
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement
• Provide actionable feedback on creative concepts and marketing ideas
• Collaborate on campaign planning and execution for music releases and special projects
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably within the music or entertainment sector
• Strong understanding of branding, audience targeting, and content strategy
• Demonstrated ability to grow and engage audiences on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
• Creative mindset with a passion for 80s music, pop culture, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Ability to work independently and manage ongoing projects remotely
• Based in or familiar with the European music scene is a plus, but not required
