About FilmTailor AI
FilmTailor is building the first AI-powered production assistant for the film and TV industry. Our proprietary system has been trained to provide intelligent, automated support to filmmakers and production teams. We’re building a product rooted in real industry knowledge, and we’re on track to reshape how creative work is done.
We are currently pre-funding. The product launched on the 31st of July this year, early traction is strong, and we have clients such as ITV, Warner Brothers and Netflix signed up to our platform.
The Role
We are looking for a driven, self-starter and creative Social Media Manager to join our Social Media Team and help define FilmTailor’s content strategy across our digital channels. This is a foundational role for someone who wants ownership and impact in a high-growth, early-stage company.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute our organic social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- Plan and create content that speaks to filmmakers, production professionals, and creative technologists
- Grow and engage a following that reflects our mission and values
- Manage the posting schedule, track performance, and optimise output
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and founding team to support product launches and company milestones
About You
We are looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will likely be a good fit if you:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital strategy (preferably in a startup, creative, or tech setting)
- Understand how to engage different audiences and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content
- Are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an unstructured early-stage environment
- Are passionate about film, creativity, or technology and ideally, all three
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Are confident working remotely and independently
What We Offer
This is an equity-only position until our funding round is completed. At that point, the role will transition to a fully salaried position with the following benefits:
- Four-day work week (paid full-time)
- Unlimited holidays
- Remote-first working environment
- Real equity and ownership in the company
- A key role in shaping a high-impact, creative, and mission-driven product
Why Join Now
This is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful at a defining moment. You will join the core team of a company built with long-term vision, real product traction, and a unique position in an industry ready for transformation. And most importantly, you will own a piece of the company.
