Social Media Intern – Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL)

About The Role

The Atlanta Gladiators are looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life across digital platforms during the off-season. If you love hockey, social media trends, and creating engaging content, this is your shot to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of professional sports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Gladiators' social media accounts (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Brainstorm new ideas and create engaging content tailored for each platform.
• Monitor social trends and contribute ideas to grow fan engagement and expand reach.
• Assist with fan engagement by helping respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Help track analytics and compile insights on post performance and engagement trends.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for hockey, sports, and social media.
• Strong knowledge of X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Creative writing skills with an understanding of social media voice/tone.
• Sharp attention to detail.

Important Information

• This role is mainly remote, but there will be opportunities to attend events and/or work in the office.
• This internship will run from the months of June through September (the off-season).
