Role Description

Location: Remote (Los Angeles-based preferred)

Pay: Hourly (Based on experience)

We are looking for a creative, trend-obsessed Social Media Intern to join us for the Summer 2026 season. This is a hands-on role where you will support a diverse portfolio of clients—ranging from fast-moving CPG brands to innovative Ed Tech platforms. This is a fully remote position, but we have a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area for potential in-person syncs and local market insights.

What You’ll Do:

  • Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging social media content (copy, basic design, and video concepts) across CPG and Ed Tech brands

  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with communities on TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram to build brand loyalty and sentiment

  • Trend Reporting: Curate and send a weekly "Social Pulse" newsletter to clients highlighting trending sounds, viral post ideas, and platform updates

  • Influencer Research: Identify and vet potential influencers and creators for upcoming brand collaborations

  • Social Listening: Use social listening tools to track brand mentions and industry trends, translating findings into actionable content recommendations

  • Admin & Analytics: Support the team in organizing creative assets and pulling weekly engagement metrics

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a Marketing, Communications, or Creative program
  • A native understanding of TikTok and Instagram
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to shift "voice" between a fun CPG brand and a professional Ed Tech tone
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Residing in the Los Angeles area is a major plus!
