Social Media Content Creator - (Portuguese Market)

We’re working with a leading global social platform that empowers millions of users to share content, spark conversations, and build niche communities. They're now looking to grow their reach in the Portuguese-speaking market and are seeking a creative and culturally aware Social Media Content Creator to support their expansion efforts.
This is a fully remote contract role, but candidates must be based in the Netherlands for the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a localised content strategy tailored to the Portuguese-speaking audience.
- Identify and engage with relevant online communities, adapting content to fit unique tones and dynamics.
- Curate and create engaging multimedia content (text, images, video) that sparks organic interaction and community engagement.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of local trends, conversations, and cultural moments to ensure content stays relevant and impactful.
- Analyse content performance and contribute strategic insights to optimise visibility and community response.
Requirements:
- Fluent/native in Portuguese, with strong English communication skills.
- An experienced user of major online forums or social platforms, with a deep understanding of how digital communities work.
- Confident in creating compelling content and engaging with diverse audiences across platforms.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, remote environments, collaborating with global teams.
- Ideally, you already know how to navigate niche communities and understand what drives genuine engagement.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience as a content creator on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter/X.
- Experience as a moderator or admin of an online community or forum.
