We are looking for a Social Creative Director obsessed with social media growth.
Not someone who simply “makes content.”
Someone who studies the platform daily, understands why videos go viral, and can engineer repeatable content systems that drive audience growth.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution - combining deep platform knowledge with high-level creative thinking.
You will work directly with leadership to concept, script, film, and scale social media content designed to grow audiences and authority on Instagram and other platforms.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Los Angeles and requires someone who is comfortable filming content (even if on iphone), and collaborating closely in person.
Lead Social Growth Strategy
- Architect social media growth strategies focused primarily on Instagram
- Identify scalable content formats that drive audience growth
- Analyze trends, formats, and platform changes to stay ahead of the algorithm
- Continuously test and iterate using new platform features (Trial Reels, new distribution formats, etc.)
Concept & Develop Content
- Ideate high-performing social-first content concepts
- Develop repeatable content series and formats
- Write scripts, hooks, and storytelling structures optimized for retention and shareability
- Turn complex ideas into highly engaging short-form content
Trend & Format Deployment
- Identify and deploy emerging trends early
- Reverse engineer viral content formats
- Build systems to consistently produce high-performing reels and short-form content
Production Collaboration
- Work in-person to film social content
- Direct content shoots and collaborate on camera presence and performance
- Ensure concepts translate effectively into filmed content
Performance Optimization
- Analyze performance data and adjust strategy accordingly
- Track engagement, retention, shares, and growth metrics
- Continuously refine formats to maximize reach and audience growth

- Thinks in hooks, storytelling, retention curves, and share triggers
- Has a strong instinct for what makes people stop scrolling
- Is both strategic and highly creative
- Can turn ideas into clear scripts and structured content
You should have experience with:
- Instagram growth strategies
- Reels optimization and format development
- Trend spotting and deployment
- Script writing for short-form video
- Content ideation and series development
- Social performance analysis
- Based in Los Angeles
- Available for in-person filming and collaboration
- Deep experience working in social media growth or content strategy
- Proven track record growing social accounts
- Ability to move quickly and test ideas rapidly
- Studies social media like a sport
- Saves viral videos and analyzes why they work
- Has a running list of content ideas and formats
- Understands that growth comes from testing, iteration, and systems
