Super Reel Travel Overview

Super Reel Travel is a video-first app that brings inspiration, trip planning, collaboration and booking into one seamless experience. Travellers explore cities through short-form, creator-led video but unlike TikTok or Instagram, every piece of content is actionable. Our AI travel assistant (Wanda) sits on top of the feed, letting users ask questions, refine ideas, and turn what they’re watching into a real, bookable trip. Please see a short video demo here.

Joining our growing team, we are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and driven video editor to help curate and deliver short videos for our innovative travel platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in video editing tools including CapCut

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality short videos tailored for the Super Reel Travel App. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your editing skills and contribute to a compelling new age travel platform built around visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit gallery-style short-form videos for hotels, restaurants, bars, activities and experiences for a video-first travel app
  • Research venues independently to gather accurate information required for gallery voiceovers, including accessibility, travel links, location details, menus and pricing
  • Write clear, concise voiceover scripts for gallery videos (e.g. Accessibility, Travel & Location, Menu, Vibe, Rooms, Facilities)
  • Fact-check all Voice Over (VO) content using reliable sources and, where needed, venue websites or direct confirmation to maintain a high standard of factual accuracy, particularly around accessibility, pricing and location
  • Translate production briefs and raw creator footage into structured, informative gallery content (ie series of short form videos for a hotel gallery could include “bar”, “restaurant”, “gym”, “pool”, “rooms”
  • Select visuals that accurately support the VO, especially for accessibility, travel logistics and practical details
  • Edit raw footage into captivating short videos that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Keep to tight runtimes (typically 20–30 seconds) while keeping information easy to follow
  • Ensure captions and text placement are legible, UX-friendly and non-obstructive with zero grammar / spelling errors
  • Organise footage, VO files and final exports clearly for app upload and internal tracking
  • Turn edits and VO revisions around quickly based on feedback and stick to deadlines
  • Work closely with the Content Production Manager to maintain tone, structure and consistency across all venues
  • Record voiceovers to a consistent, on-brand standard (clear audio, neutral accent, good pacing)

This will be followed by an interview request


There will also be a timed video edit exercise as follows:

  1. Edit video to 15-25 seconds max
  2. Apply brand guideline provided (captions, size etc)
  3. Deliver and upload to specified folder & 30 min timed exercise
