My client is a leading Data Center General Contractor with a strong national presence and a rapidly growing portfolio of large-scale mission critical projects across the United States. Due to continued expansion and a significant pipeline of hyperscale and enterprise data center developments, they are seeking senior leadership talent to help drive and support the delivery of major projects nationwide.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction executive looking to play a key role within a high-growth mission critical business, working on some of the most technically advanced and high-profile projects in the industry.
The successful individual will help shape operational strategy, strengthen client relationships, lead high-performing teams, and support the continued growth of the company’s Mission Critical division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the growth and strategic development of the Data Center / Mission Critical business across the US
- Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mission critical construction projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, design partners, and industry stakeholders
- Lead and mentor high-performing teams across operations, preconstruction, project management, and field delivery
- Collaborate closely with estimating, safety, quality, and executive leadership teams to drive project success
- Support business development initiatives including client engagement, presentations, RFP pursuits, and industry networking
- Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments within the mission critical sector
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience delivering Data Center, Mission Critical, or Advanced Technology construction projects
- Strong understanding of mission critical systems including power, cooling, redundancy, uptime standards, and Tier classifications
- Demonstrated success managing large, technically complex construction programs
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams within a General Contractor or Developer environment
- Strong client-facing and business development capabilities within the mission critical market
- Ability to travel extensively across the United States as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on hyperscale data center campuses or large enterprise mission critical programs
- Familiarity with design-build and integrated project delivery models
- Exposure to sustainable construction practices, resilience-focused design, and LEED methodologies
- Strong network within the Data Center and Mission Critical construction industry
