Genesis Partners - Executive Search is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Vice President of Finance on behalf of a private equity backed, rapidly scaling wellness CPG company. The business has established strong brand momentum, a highly engaged customer base, and is entering a critical phase of operational and financial expansion.
This is a senior leadership role designed for a finance executive who wants genuine influence on company trajectory. The mandate is not simply reporting accuracy or accounting oversight. The SVP Finance will serve as a core strategic partner to the executive team and investors, shaping decisions that directly impact growth, capital efficiency, and long term enterprise value.
Role Overview
The SVP Finance will own the finance function at the highest level, with responsibility spanning financial planning and analysis, liquidity management, performance modeling, and executive level decision support. This individual will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating financial insights into clear operating priorities.
The environment requires a builder mentality. The company is scaling quickly, and finance plays a central role in navigating growth, complexity, and investment decisions. This is a role for someone comfortable with both altitude and detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead company wide financial planning, forecasting, and long range modeling
- Drive performance analysis across revenue, margins, customer economics, and channel dynamics
- Own cash management, liquidity planning, and capital allocation discipline
- Partner closely with the CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives and operating decisions
- Develop board and investor materials, including financial narratives and KPI frameworks
- Establish scalable financial infrastructure, processes, and controls aligned with company growth
- Evaluate growth investments, commercial initiatives, and operational tradeoffs
- Support fundraising, lender relationships, and investor interactions as needed
- Build, mentor, and scale the finance organization over time
Candidate Profile
This role is intentionally structured for a high caliber finance leader with demonstrated experience operating in dynamic, growth oriented environments.
Strong candidates will typically possess:
- Experience within private equity, growth equity, or high growth operating companies
- Deep expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and business performance analytics
- Clear understanding of cash flow dynamics and capital efficiency in scaling businesses
- Ability to operate as a strategic partner rather than a functional specialist
- Confidence interacting with executive leadership and investors
- High intellectual horsepower paired with pragmatic business judgment
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, rapid change, and evolving priorities
Industry background within wellness, consumer products, subscription models, or broader CPG environments is highly relevant but not strictly required. The defining factor is operating capability and financial acumen.

Structure & Compensation
- Fully remote role, preference for West Coast due to executive team footprint
- Base compensation up to $260K + performance bonus + meaningful equity participation
