Our client was jointly established by a well-known Chinese listed group specializing in pesticide and functional chemical R&D and production, together with a reputable German company engaged in chemicals, agrochemicals, and pharmaceutical raw materials. The enterprise is currently in a critical phase of rapid growth. With its headquarters in Switzerland, the company leverages the deep industry expertise and international resources of both shareholders to actively expand its supply chain capabilities and overall business footprint across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and steer operational activities using relevant KPIs to ensure performance meets business objectives.
- Coordinate supplier selection in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.
- Conduct regular tendering for major supply chain categories, including tolling, logistics, and raw material sourcing.
- Manage inventory levels effectively to support commercial and operational requirements.
- Provide the commercial team with timely updates on pricing trends, supply conditions, and market changes.
- Ensure smooth flow of documents, data, and materials across the entire supply chain—from origin to customer delivery.
- Execute all supply chain processes within the assigned ERP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Necessary Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Strong strategic thinking and sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication capabilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams.
- A customer-centric mindset for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong command of ERP systems.
- Familiarity with WMS and TMS systems.
- Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of digitalization and automation tools within supply chain operations.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (preferably German, French, or Polish) are an advantage.
