Job Title: Sr. SCM Engine & Asset Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager – Engine & Asset Management to lead sourcing strategy, vendor management, and contract negotiations for aircraft engines, Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), and other high-value aviation assets. This role will act as the subject matter expert responsible for developing long-term strategies to optimize maintenance support, supplier relationships, and total cost of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing strategy, vendor selection, and contract negotiations for aircraft engines, APUs, and related assets.
- Develop long-term strategies for maintenance support and asset lifecycle management.
- Manage relationships with engine and APU suppliers and negotiate service agreements.
- Analyze supplier proposals and financial models to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Fleet, Maintenance, Finance, Legal, and Planning.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding engine and asset maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and optimize supplier performance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance contract management or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of aircraft engine contracting experience.
- Experience negotiating complex aviation service agreements.
- Experience analyzing complex vendor proposals and financial models.
- Strong track record building long-term supplier relationships.
