Project: Malmberg – Distribution & Access System (D&T)
Responsibilities:
The D&T team develops and maintains the main system for Malmberg for Distributie & Toegang.
As QA engineer, the selected candidate will have a vital function in the team for maintaining the current system and building up a new platform for License and Authorization management. This new platform is based on an event driven architecture and consists of multiple microservices. The infrastructure is all cloud-based, hosted on Amazon Web Services.
You will pair with the developers in the team for reviewing the code changes for the platform, improving the development lifecycle, setting up (automated) tests in all test levels, CI-CD, performance testing and releasing the application.
Together with the Service Engineer of the team, you will coordinate the yearly security test of the D&T system. And you will participate in the yearly Dutch chain tests for the Educational Content Chain. These tests are performed in collaboration with external testers working for logistic partners of Malmberg.
Must-Have Requirements:
• Senior level knowledge on testing and the test automation
• Proven experience in setting up and maintaining test automation projects
• Proven knowledge in API testing
• Knowledge on SQL and databases (Postgres, MySQL)
• Programming skills & the ability to read and review code
• Familiarity with Java and Python
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Can work well in an Agile environment
• Excellent team player
• Very good problem solving and analytical skills
• Good communicator among team members
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and Angular
• Knowledge of the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with Datadog or other observability tools
• Experience in performance testing
• Experience in security testing
