Senior Purchasing Manager - US Beef & Dairy
Location: Remote | Caribbean-Based Organization
An established and rapidly growing Caribbean food distribution group is seeking to appoint a Senior Purchasing Manager to support the continued expansion of its premium imported food division.
This organization is recognised as one of the region’s leading suppliers of high-quality imported food products, servicing luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, retailers, and food service clients across multiple Caribbean markets. With a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and long-standing international supplier relationships, the business continues to strengthen its footprint throughout the region.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional with strong exposure to the US beef industry and international food procurement markets.
Key Focus Areas:
- Management of international procurement activities across premium US beef categories
- Sourcing and purchasing of high-quality cuts including tenderloins, ribeye, ribs, Black Angus, and USDA product lines
- Supplier relationship management and negotiation with international producers and distributors
- Oversight of imported dairy categories including cheese, cream, milk, and related products
- Monitoring pricing trends, market conditions, and product availability within global food markets
- Supporting inventory planning, forecasting, and supply continuity across multiple Caribbean territories
- Working closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
Candidate Profile
- Strong experience within international food procurement, purchasing, or category management
- Proven exposure to the US beef industry and premium beef product categories
- Knowledge of Black Angus, USDA grading, and imported meat specifications
- Additional experience within dairy procurement would be highly advantageous
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Self-managed and capable of working remotely while engaging with international stakeholders
