DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex regional and global projects within broader programs. The role involves ensuring objectives are clearly defined and achieved while delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to scope. The position can be remote or hybrid from Barcelona.

Tasks:

• Lead multiple projects and workstreams within regional/global programs.
• Apply structured project management processes aligned with program frameworks (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control).
• Develop detailed project plans with organized and resourced activities.
• Monitor progress to meet deadlines and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
• Ensure consistent methodology and best practices across projects.
• Prepare documentation such as status reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Business, and other functions.
• Maintain thorough records of milestones and deliverables.
• Share best practices and coach junior project managers.
  
  

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
• Strong risk evaluation and mitigation capabilities.
• Advanced analytical and synthesis skills.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in complex organizations with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) are highly valued.
