Role Overview:
We are looking for a Fractional Senior Operations Manager to provide senior-level operational leadership within a VC-backed, tech-enabled organization operating in the healthcare space. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who has helped scale SaaS or platform businesses, managed distributed and offshore teams, and supported complex healthcare or healthcare-adjacent operations such as pharmacies or multi-entity organizations.
You will work closely with executive leadership to strengthen operational foundations, improve execution across teams, and ensure systems, processes, and people are aligned to support growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring comfort operating in ambiguity while building scalable structure.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve core operational systems, processes, and workflows across the organization
- Partner with executive leadership to define operational priorities and support strategic planning
- Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies and lead cross-functional process improvements
- Build, refine, and maintain SOPs, documentation, and operational frameworks
- Oversee operational tooling and systems to ensure reliability, adoption, and scalability
- Establish and track key operational metrics to measure performance and operational health
- Support coordination across product, engineering, customer success, and leadership teams
- Lead and support operations across distributed and offshore teams, ensuring clear accountability and execution
- Ensure operational alignment across multiple entities, business units, or locations
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in operations, program management, or operational leadership roles
- Experience working within VC-backed, tech-enabled SaaS or platform companies
- Direct experience operating in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent environments, such as digital health, health tech, or pharmacy operations
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-location organizations
- Proven experience managing and collaborating with offshore or international teams
- Strong ability to design, improve, and scale systems in growing or complex organizations
- Experience partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong organizational, execution, and prioritization skills
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in fast-moving environments

Role Details and Compensation:
- 1099 Fractional, part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Remote, U.S.-based
- Opportunity to expand scope over time based on business needs and performance
- Compensation: $3250-4000/month (depending on experience)
