Senior Medical Writer
We are seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join a globally focused healthcare communications team, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple therapeutic areas. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver medically and scientifically accurate content tailored to client objectives
• Adapt writing style and content for a variety of target audiences and therapeutic areas
• Review, proofread, and edit work produced by junior writers or peers
• Collaborate with medical experts and stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy
• Attend and support client meetings, congresses, symposia, and advisory boards
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines, good publication practices, and therapeutic areas
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on writing and project delivery
• Ensure work aligns with client objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements
Experience Required
• Life sciences degree; advanced degree (MSc or PhD) preferred
• 3–4 years’ experience in medical writing within medical communications or pharmaceutical settings
• Experience across multiple project types and therapy areas
• Proven ability to review and edit content effectively
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
