The Sr. Manager HR Projects Western Europe is a strategic People leader responsible for delivering high-impact People projects across the cluster (Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal). This role acts as a senior consultant, driving business integrations, supporting acquisitions, and enhancing leadership and talent capabilities across different levels of the organization. The focus is on working with cluster business leaders, local people teams, and regional people expertise on delivering pragmatic solutions while ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction and timely project closure. This individual will spearhead complex people projects, aiming to set up sustainable frameworks that allow for seamless handovers once projects are completed, freeing them up for new strategic initiatives. You will deputize the Vice President People in meetings where he cannot be present.

How You Will Contribute
- Lead strategic people initiatives, particularly around business acquisitions and integrations, ensuring alignment with DP World's business objectives.
- Act as a senior people consultant, providing expert advice and solutions while maintaining a hands-on approach to project execution.
- Drive project lifecycles from conception to completion, ensuring high satisfaction from all stakeholders and timely delivery.
- Implement people frameworks that can be sustained post-project handover.
- Collaborate with regional people teams and business leaders to identify needs and deliver tailored people solutions.
- Serve as the primary people contact for smaller countries, offering guidance on complex people issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
- Always act as an ambassador for DP World when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- 10+ years in senior people related role, preferably in an international business environment.
- Consultancy experience, able to set strategy and define clear goals and implementation plans.
- Strong capabilities in analytics, dashboarding, and application of project management tools.
- Strong presentation and project leadership skills in more complex business settings.
- Proven experience working across multiple countries with diverse legal and cultural environments.
- Direct involvement in business acquisition processes, business integrations, cultural integration, and benefits + process alignment.
- Passion for talent identification, succession management, and learning tools.
- Experience in logistics, and ideally including “blue-collar” engagement.
