The Senior Manager, Ecommerce will own and drive Universal Standard’s website operations, ensuring the site consistently reflects marketing priorities, product launches, promotional cadence, and UX best practices. This role is accountable for delivering a seamless, best-in-class customer experience across desktop and mobile. This role is the perfect blend of data, ecomm operations, and marketing - and requires someone who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute the day-to-day work as they are driving strategic direction for the business.


This integral position on our team reports directly to the CMO and offers a clear path for accelerated growth for the right candidate. This role has regular interaction with the executive team and the ability to influence decision making and strategy.  This role requires occasional hands-on support during peak periods, including select weekends and major holiday promotions. 


Responsibilities


Website Ownership & Operations

  • Own day-to-day operations of universalstandard.com, ensuring the site reflects business priorities across product, marketing, and creative
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all website-related needs, including timelines, execution, QA, and cross-functional coordination
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and escalate site issues, bugs, and UX concerns as needed


Site Merchandising & Marketing Alignment

  • Own and execute the daily site experience, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar, promotions, and campaigns
  • Manage homepage, landing pages, PLPs, and collections to optimize conversion and customer journey
  • Ensure all links, pages, and promotional elements are properly built, merchandised, and QA’d prior to launch


Product Launch & Content Management

  • Own the end-to-end product launch process within Shopify and related tools
  • Ensure all product data, including imagery, video, copy, and layout is accurate, on-brand, and QA’d before launch
  • Partner with product, creative, and operations teams to ensure complete and accurate product presentation
  • Manage and maintain product tagging structure, including ongoing cleanup and optimization


UX, QA & Site Performance

  • Conduct daily QA across desktop and mobile to ensure a seamless, high-quality user experience
  • Own landing page experience for paid media, including direction, setup, and ongoing merchandising
  • Maintain overall site hygiene, including collection hierarchy, outdated product cleanup, and evergreen page upkeep


Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor site performance and merchandising effectiveness, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Share regular performance reports 
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting, including partner and matchback analysis


Process, Optimization & Competitive Insights

  • Manage product reviews platform and execution
  • Own weekly site update processes to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Monitor competitor sites and industry trends to identify best-in-class e-commerce practices

Bonus points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 4–6 years in ecommerce, analytics, or consulting


The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 per year. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
