This role combines strategic Learning & Development partnership with hands-on global program delivery in a complex, technology-driven manufacturing environment. You will act as the key L&D advisor for a major site while also contributing to enterprise-wide learning initiatives across a global organization. The position requires balancing high-level stakeholder engagement with detailed program execution, ensuring learning solutions are aligned with business priorities and future skills needs. You will help translate global learning strategies into impactful local delivery while feeding site insights back into global frameworks. Operating in a matrixed and fast-evolving environment, you will support capability building, digital learning adoption, and workforce transformation. This is a highly visible role where your work directly influences talent development, operational readiness, and long-term skills strategy.

Accountabilities

You will act as the primary Learning & Development partner for a major site while also leading the delivery of global learning programs and capability-building initiatives.

  • Serve as the key L&D partner to site leadership, advising on skills priorities, workforce capability, and talent risks
  • Align local learning strategies with broader business and global L&D objectives, ensuring consistency and impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global learning programs, including planning, scheduling, communications, and execution
  • Manage program logistics, stakeholder coordination, vendor input, and learning platform setup
  • Track, analyze, and report learning effectiveness, providing data-driven insights to leadership teams
  • Design and support site-specific capability and technical training initiatives, particularly for manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Oversee apprenticeship, graduate, and early-career programs in collaboration with talent and site stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance and mandatory training requirements are delivered, tracked, and audit-ready
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of learning processes and global program delivery standards
  • Support adoption of digital tools, skills frameworks, and AI-enabled learning solutions

Requirements

You bring strong experience in Learning & Development and program management, with the ability to operate effectively across both strategic and operational levels in a global environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR program management, or talent development roles
  • Proven experience managing complex learning programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable and practical learning solutions
  • Strong program and project management capabilities with attention to detail and delivery discipline
  • Experience working with learning management systems and digital learning platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments is an advantage
  • Interest or exposure to AI-enabled learning tools and skills-based talent approaches
