2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner plays a vital role in aligning human resources strategies with business goals to enhance organizational effectiveness. This position is responsible for delivering expert HR guidance, fostering strong partnerships across various stakeholders, and supporting employee relations and development initiatives. The role ensures compliance with employment laws and contributes to the overall performance and engagement of the workforce.
3. Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain partnerships with business leaders, vendors, community groups, and internal teams to provide effective HR support.
• Advise managers and employees on HR and employee relations matters in alignment with policies and legal standards.
• Support performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness efforts.
• Manage Department of Labor unemployment notices, prepare leaders for hearings, and represent the organization as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee I-9 documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate charitable initiatives, wellness programs, and employee engagement activities.
• Facilitate employee orientation, onboarding, and separation processes.
• Investigate employee misconduct or policy violations and support disciplinary actions.
• Guide management through disciplinary and termination procedures.
• Oversee the company''s performance review process.
• Manage reasonable accommodation requests.
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment and communications.
• Communicate non-traditional benefits.
• Address employee concerns and serve as backup for the employee hotline.
• Assist HR leadership in litigation response and collaborate with legal counsel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
4. Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience focusing on employee relations, compensation, and development.
• Advanced knowledge of HR principles, performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to consult and influence business leaders strategically.
• Strong time management, adaptability, and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated with accountability and teamwork capabilities.
• Professional interaction across all organizational levels.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is desirable.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Compensation range: $64,800 - $121,500 annually, varying based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
