In this role, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on HR partner to commercial teams, working closely with senior sales and marketing leaders to drive engagement, performance, and alignment with business goals. You will translate HR strategy into actionable initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement programs. This role requires a combination of tactical HR expertise, relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will monitor HR metrics, provide guidance on policies and compliance, and contribute to initiatives that support talent development and organizational growth. Remote work is supported, with preference for candidates in Eastern or Central U.S. regions, and occasional travel may be required.

Accountabilities

  • Act as primary HR partner to sales and marketing leadership, addressing daily HR needs and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as productivity, turnover, and performance trends, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for commercial roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate on onboarding programs, performance management, territory alignment, and employee communications.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, best practices, and employee relations issues, facilitating resolution where necessary.
  • Execute engagement and recognition initiatives to enhance employee experience and retention.
  • Gather feedback from teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strategic HR insight with strong operational skills and experience partnering with commercial teams. Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. PHR certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience supporting commercial teams; experience in biotech or life sciences preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence leaders and build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required.
  • Prior experience in private-equity backed or fast-growing organizations preferred.
