About the role
We’re looking for a senior fullstack engineer to join our team building the WtR Platform.
With 15+ years in commercial real estate, we’re building an ecosystem of modern digital tools (WtR Platform) that’s redefining and streamlining how office space is communicated and leased. A combination of high-touch-high-tech. Today’s leasing process is manual, slow, and stuck in the past — we’re setting a new digital standard for the industry. Our clients are some of the world’s largest commercial real estate companies, including Skanska, Tishman Speyer, Vasakronan, Fabege, Hines, and Castellum.
You’ll join a small, AI-enabled team and work across a modern TypeScript monorepo, shipping APIs, platform features, and the tooling that ties it all together. No bloated processes. No unnecessary meetings. The code and the vision speak for themselves.
We’re looking for someone best-in-class — a developer who cares deeply about how a product feels, believes in simplicity and elegance, and wants to move fast with AI as a force multiplier.
What you'll work on
- API development — Building and extending our Effect-TS based API with PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, and fine-grained authorization (Ory Keto)
- Platform features — Full-stack work across our Vinxi/React 19 applications with TanStack Router, React Query, and type-safe API clients (OpenAPI, tRPC)
- Real-time collaboration — Yjs/CRDT-based document editing with PartyServer WebSocket infrastructure
- Infrastructure & DX — Cloud-native services on AWS (Fargate, RDS, S3, SES) deployed via FlightControl, frontend on Vercel, with OpenTelemetry observability
- Internal tooling — Custom CLI tools, workspace management, and shared packages in a pnpm + Turborepo monorepo
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Based in the Stockholm region
- Strong TypeScript skills — you’re comfortable with generics, branded types, discriminated unions, and type-safe API patterns
- Experience with or interest in functional programming — our backend uses Effect-TS extensively (services, dependency injection, error handling, concurrency)
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, query optimization
- Familiarity with React and modern frontend patterns (server components, signals, state machines)
- Comfortable in a monorepo environment with shared packages, workspace tooling, and CI pipelines
Bonus points for experience with
- Real-time/collaborative systems (CRDTs, WebSockets)
- 3D rendering
- Geospatial systems
How we work
- All work refined, planned, and executed in Linear
- TypeScript everywhere — frontend to backend to CLI tooling
- Type safety at every boundary — OpenAPI specs, Zod schemas, Effect services
- Custom internal tooling
- Domain-driven API design with repository and policy patterns
- Automated quality gates: linting, formatting, type checking, architecture boundary enforcement
Remote first, Stockholm based
We’re a remote-first team, but this role requires you to be based in the Stockholm region.
You can work from wherever you do your best thinking — home, a café, a co-working space, or our office. We optimize for written communication, clear documentation, and async decision-making, with video calls reserved for the moments they genuinely help.
Part of the team is based in Stockholm, and we value the ability to meet in person for pairing sessions, workshops, planning, and the occasional office day.
Benefits
Beyond salary, we also want to make sure our team enjoys working with us.
- Wellness allowance
- Flexible working hours
- Remote-first culture
- Office option available in Stockholm
