This role is REMOTE, located in Switzerland.


About The Role

The EMEA Program Management lead will be responsible for the coordination of all Program Management activities in Europe. This will include management of pipeline activities and establishing and leading the launch excellence process throughout the region.


What You'll Do

  • Partners with Global Portfolio Strategy Team and European Leadership Team on key program activities in EMEA
  • As a member of the European Leadership Team, ensures the ELT has visibility and awareness of all pipeline programs and plans for European activities relating to global development programs
  • As a member of the Global Portfolio Strategy Team facilitates European input into development and commercial programs as needed (connecting global and European functions/ teams as needed)
  • Works with the commercial/ country teams and global partners to ensure appropriate plans are in place to support the launch of new products in the EMEA region, ensuring the appropriate governance process is in place and that periodic reviews of the launch milestones and objectives are conducted
  • Demonstrates leadership by influencing, coordinating, and partnering across core and interfacing workstream leadership to ensure key program objectives remain on track
  • Functional leaders to ensure a coherent, integrated approach to achieving launch readiness
  • Proactively identifies and highlights launch risks and interdependencies and works with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
  • Work with EMEA and global stakeholders to support change, leveraging a change management methodology to support adoption of the change required by project or initiative
  • Drive change management efforts across the organization, provide project and transformation support with high level of detail, addressing stakeholders, risks, actions and decisions


Who You Are

  • Team player with the ability to successfully collaborate and partner in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in English (proficiency in another European language would also be preferred but not essential)
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, General Management, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences consulting industries with 3+ years of program management experience in product development and management across the full product life cycle: pre-clinical research and development; clinical development; regulatory submissions and commercialization
  • Significant experience in multiple European pharma and/or biotech asset/therapy launches, across EU-5.
