Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Occupational Therapy Assistant. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will support patients by providing therapeutic care plans under the direction of an occupational therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with rehabilitation exercises, facilitating patient recovery, and adapting therapy plans as needed. The role may also involve contributing to the development of individualized programs and providing home care support to patients in need.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practices
- Proficiency in providing high-quality Patient Care and Home Care support
- Experience in Program Development to create tailored therapy plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Relevant certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing their unique needs is a plus
