Description/Job Summary
The Director of Marketing will report to the Senior Vice President of Operations / CFO. The Senior Director of Marketing and Growth will lead the marketing and communications for Lindahl Reed and across its rapidly growing energy innovation, national security and environmental stewardship areas. This position will collaborate with execution, operations, and business development leaders to deliver consistent and effective marketing and communication to Lindahl Reed employees, prospective and existing customers, and prospective employees. This includes marketing and communication alignment with Lindahl Reed mission, vision and core principles, and integration with business development, branding initiatives, and marketing campaigns. The focus of marketing initiatives is to enhance Lindahl Reed brand, brand awareness, business growth, and enterprise value. Responsibilities include: branding, social media presence, advertising, corporate events, conferences, employee communications, public relations, business development, and customer engagement and account management. Position Responsibilities
- Leads corporate marketing and communications efforts for Lindahl Reed, including developing and implementing campaigns and initiatives to promote Lindahl Reed’s brand and expand market presence and awareness.
- Directs and manages the execution of the strategic direction of corporate marketing and communications for Lindahl Reed.
- Collaborates closely with executive leaders, practice and operational leads, and external consultants and partners to support the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Conducts research, prepares marketing and external engagement materials, and implements effective marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives across all Lindahl Reed services and practices areas.
- Develops, communicates and implements an annual Marketing Plan.
- Tracks marketing and communications key performance indicators to ensure program effectiveness.
- Works with the advisory and leadership teams on opportunities and issues relevant to overall corporate marketing and communications.
- Reviews and prepares updates to websites to ensure information is accurate and updated on an ongoing basis.
- Manages Lindahl Reed’s LinkedIn and other social media platform presence, including preparing and posting events, news, and other materials consistent with branding and marketing initiatives
- Prepares whitepapers, articles, news releases, website content, marketing cutsheets, and other written materials.
- Leads the coordination of Lindahl Reed participation at corporate events, conferences, and other external engagements, including internal and external stakeholder engagement events and activities, logistics, and event participation, and booth displays and marketing materials.
- Directs and manages ongoing internal branding activities, including employee engagement, consistent use of templates, email settings, and other external facing materials.
- Leverages technology to ensure an efficient and effective extended Marketing team.
- Reviews and supports development of business development documents, including marketing/capability statements, sources sought and request for information responses, and responses to proposals.
- Leads or assists with major revenue-generating studies or initiatives, including growth strategy, go-to-market tactics, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, market expansion, and other strategic pursuits.
- Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 10 years of marketing and strategic communications experience required.
- General business operations and stakeholder engagement experience preferred.
- Strong writing, communication, and facilitation skills, team-focused mentality, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines, with multiple/simultaneous bid/proposal efforts, and occasional travel.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively work with a diverse workforce of professionals and to work collaboratively with all team members.
- Self-starter, driven and able to work with limited direction under target timelines.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into processes and tactical plans.
