Accountabilities
- Lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of public health technology programs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Own contribution margin performance across the portfolio, managing utilization, burn rates, forecasting accuracy, and financial outcomes.
- Establish governance frameworks including risk management, escalation procedures, quality assurance, and standardized project delivery methodologies.
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for state-level clients, building trust and expanding partnerships through exceptional execution.
- Identify organic growth opportunities through strategic account planning, cross-sell initiatives, and follow-on project development.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams including delivery managers, project managers, engineers, analysts, and QA professionals.
- Maintain forward-looking resource planning to align staffing capacity with client demand and delivery timelines.
- Standardize reporting, estimation methods, agile practices, and operational processes to support scalable growth.
- Partner with technical leadership to ensure architectural consistency, compliance standards, and reusable solutions across engagements.
- Contribute to divisional strategy, OKR planning, and executive decision-making as a member of the leadership team.
- 5-10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or technology delivery leadership roles with operational ownership.
- Proven experience managing P&L or contribution margin performance, utilization, forecasting, and fixed-price contract delivery.
- Strong background in public health technology, health IT, government services, or a closely related sector.
- Experience working with state health departments or public sector agencies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in executive client relationship management and account growth within government environments.
- Expertise in project and program management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, hybrid, or waterfall frameworks.
- Track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong risk management judgment, problem-solving ability, and operational decision-making skills.
- Executive communication skills with the ability to engage senior internal leaders and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Public Health, Health Informatics, IT, Public Administration, or related field.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, TEFCA, or USCDI is a plus.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $177,994 to $214,820.55 annually.
