What you’ll do

We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our bare metal infrastructure and ensuring its availability for on-call rotation schedules to address critical production issues outside of normal business hours. As well as infrastructural streamlining, deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of seamless integration and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage our Kubernetes infrastructure for container orchestration and scaling.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable deployments, including advanced deployment strategies like canary deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability from an infrastructure perspective.
• Contribute to the security and compliance of the infrastructure and deployment process.

Required Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a DevOps/SysOps Engineer or in a similar role, 5+ years.
• Strong expertise in containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
• In-depth experience with implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with deployment strategies, including canary deployments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with Linux operating system administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed databases and columnar store technologies, particularly ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
• Certification in Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKAD).
