Designer at G-W Studios
We're a Swedish design studio working with some of the most interesting companies being built right now. AI-platforms, biotech firms, fintech challengers, fast-growing tech brands. Our work spans brand identity, digital products, and everything in between. Clients like Klarna, NEKO Health, Cerebras and Legora trust us to make complex technology feel clear, credible and beautiful. Small team. Senior designers. Real ownership of your work.
Who you are
You're comfortable owning a project. You've built brand identities before and you understand that the real work starts when the logo is done. Extending a brand coherently across formats, contexts and scales is where you thrive. You move with the tools, not against them. You're not precious about how things used to be done. You use AI where it makes you faster and better, and you know when to step in where it doesn't. You understand that designers winning right now are the ones who can prompt with intent, judge the output, and deliver something that still feels unmistakably considered. That's the bar.
Maybe you've been freelancing, you miss a larger design context but never thought a studio like this existed? Or you're at a big agency and you're done with the politics and the processes that slow everything down. Either way, you're ready for something that moves faster and trusts you more.
The role
This one's for someone who thrives in the space between brand and execution. You know how to translate a brand foundation (the strategy and positioning) into a visual identity, and then carry it confidently into everything that follows. Websites, presentations, merch, event booths, templates, AI-powered design systems. You don't just hand things off. You see projects through.
Day to day you'll:
- Lead design in client projects from brief to delivery
- Build and extend brand identities across digital and physical touchpoints
- Translate brand systems into web experiences and UI
- Craft brand assets like templates, decks, merch and exhibition materials
- Present your work to clients at key stages
- Collaborate with other designers, developers and copywriters
You probably have:
- Curiosity and the ability to learn fast
- A strong portfolio or examples of work showing brand identity work and how you've taken it out into the world
- Solid experience with web and digital (you know what a developer needs from you)
- High standards for craft and a good eye for when something is off
- The confidence to run client meetings and talk through your decisions
- Figma and Adobe on lockdown, juggling tools like Unicorn.studio, Jitter and Typograph to perfect your craft
- Experience in tech, AI, biotech or B2B is a plus.
Working here
We go on a studio trip every year. San Sebastián, Málaga, Amsterdam this year. The team is spread across Gothenburg, Västerås, Malmö, Amsterdam, San Sebastián and New York so we work remotely by default. We have a studio on Döbelnsgatan in central Stockholm that's there whenever you want it. Come in as much or as little as you like, no one is keeping score.
We work on problems that are genuinely hard to design well and we care a lot about getting them right. It's a good place to do good work.
Sounds like you?
