As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building and maintaining scalable and efficient data platform solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable and optimized for analysis and decision-making.


Key responsibilities will include

  • Designing, developing and optimizing data pipelines
  • Implementing pipelines using a combination of technologies, including Git, SQL, PySpark, Python, Databricks and the Azure data tech stack
  • Collaborating with colleagues to build a flexible and scalable platform, both implementation-wise and operationally
  • Monitoring data ingestion, and loading jobs, addressing failures and resolving pipeline incidents


Your Competencies

  • 5+ years of professional experience in designing, building and maintaining scalable, high-performance data solutions
  • Demonstrated high expertise in SQL, Python and PySpark
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data stack and related technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake
  • Experience working with live production systems
