This is a highly cross-functional data role sitting at the core of a modern Customer Data Platform initiative, where your work directly influences acquisition, conversion, segmentation, and retention strategies across multiple brands. You will operate between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating product and business needs into clear, executable data specifications while ensuring the integrity and usability of a rapidly evolving data platform. The environment is technical, fast-moving, and foundational, with a strong focus on building reliable data structures rather than traditional reporting. You will work on identity resolution, semantic modeling, and data quality systems that power downstream analytics and marketing activation. A significant part of your role is analytical exploration, validating hypotheses and shaping data models before they are productionized. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your work defines how trusted and usable data becomes across the entire organization.

Accountabilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical data specifications, including source schemas, transformations, data models, quality checks, and consumption logic.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data solutions are implemented correctly and aligned with business intent, staying involved throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform hands-on data analysis (SQL, Python, dbt) to validate hypotheses, explore datasets, and support the design of scalable data models.
- Own data quality issues end-to-end, identifying root causes, coordinating fixes with engineering teams, and validating downstream impact.
- Contribute to the development of a unified semantic layer, ensuring consistent definitions, documentation, and usability of core business metrics.
- Support and extend identity resolution systems within the Customer Data Platform, validating matching logic and data consistency across multiple sources.
- Ensure delivered data products match agreed specifications and raise issues proactively before release to production.
- Enable downstream analytics and business teams by ensuring data is reliable, well-structured, and clearly documented.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, window functions, joins, and large-scale dataset troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with dbt, including model development, testing, and debugging.
- Solid Python skills for data exploration, scripting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Experience working with modern data stacks and medallion/layered architectures (bronze, silver, gold).
- Proven ability to write clear, actionable technical specifications that engineering teams can implement.
- Hands-on experience owning data quality issues from detection to root cause resolution and validation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical engineers and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Experience in iGaming, affiliate marketing, SaaS, or other high-volume digital environments is a plus.
- Experience with customer identity resolution, Customer 360, or single customer view initiatives is highly valuable.
