We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to support our month-end close, cash management, and reconciliation processes. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys the technical side of accounting, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet accuracy, and processing daily cash activity. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive mindset.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
71,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Remote (United States))

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to support our month-end close, cash management, and reconciliation processes. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys the technical side of accounting, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet accuracy, and processing daily cash activity. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive mindset.
Duties Include
- Prepare journal entries for various accounting transactions as part of the monthly and year-end close process.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Record daily cash activity across all subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely posting of incoming cash and accurate cash application.
- Set up payments in the bank portal for approved vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentation.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain accounting schedules and documentation in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Finance, and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper coding of transactions.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
- Support Corporate Accounting Manager on various ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Three to five years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong focus on journal entries, reconciliations, and cash recording.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills, including formulas, pivot table, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in NetSuite.
- Proven experience in cash recording and bank-related accounting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage recurring tasks with accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed environment.
