You will work closely with the finance and accounting teams, providing financial insights and ensuring strong communication and collaboration across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and commissions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls monthly and quarterly close, cash management, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Coordinate external audits and help manage relationships with auditors (BDO).
- Serve as a key advisor on structuring financial operations.
- Partner with HR and legal teams on benefits reviews, insurance renewals, and compliance matters.
- Optimize financial systems and processes, leveraging technology (e.g., NetSuite) for efficiency and scalability.
- Define and implement best-in-class accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure financial systems and controls support scalability and align with company growth objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, automation, and reporting accuracy.
- SaaS company experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Proven experience in managing audits, tax compliance, and cash management strategies.
