We're seeking a Senior Account Executive, Sports, a highly-driven, results-oriented, and accountable sales professional to join our dynamic sales team. This is a strategic role focused on leveraging a deep personal network and industry expertise to drive new business acquisition within major American professional sports leagues (e.g., NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS) and their member teams.
This isn't just about closing deals; it's about strategically penetrating executive-level relationships (e.g., CMOs, VPs of Marketing/Digital, VPs of Content) with a true hunter mentality. You will be responsible for selling our complete, integrated solution: the PhotoShelter for Brands AI-powered Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform and the Socialie real-time content distribution platform. You will demonstrate how this powerful combination solves high-stakes challenges in fan engagement, athlete marketing, and sponsorship activation.
This role reports to the Global VP of Sales and can be Fully Remote or Hybrid from our NYC office.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
We're looking for a seasoned sales professional who embodies grit and a relentless pursuit of success. You'll have:
- A deep, demonstrable expertise and robust personal network within the U.S. professional sports industry. Your relationships at the executive level (leagues and teams) are your primary tool for opening doors and building new pipelines
- An accomplished 8-10+ year SaaS or MarTech sales track record, consistently exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets with a primary focus on new business acquisition, with significant experience selling directly to sports organizations
- The confidence and expertise to manage the full deal cycle from aggressive prospecting to solution alignment, compelling product demonstrations, and seamless contract close. You must be able to articulate the clear ROI of our integrated AI-powered DAM (PhotoShelter) and real-time athlete content distribution (Socialie) solutions
- A proven ability to strategically establish and cultivate strong relationships with key C-level and VP-level decision-makers within professional sports leagues and teams. You're a master at navigating complex organizations
- A genuine passion for and deep understanding of the sports media landscape. You must be able to discuss monetization, fan engagement trends, athlete marketing, and the value of digital sponsorship with authority
- A history of developing winning customer solutions and promoting highly effective sales activities. You'll serve as a sales best practices leader within our organization, constantly seeking ways to optimize and improve
- Expertise in utilizing systematic sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPIC, Solution Selling, Challenger Sale, Target Account Selling, Sandler, or others) to drive predictable and repeatable results
- Exceptional diligence in lead and pipeline management, ensuring accurate data collection and meticulous forecasting. You understand that a well-managed pipeline is key to consistent success
- A proactive approach to identifying product development opportunities by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies
