Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The Scrum Master will work closely with the customer project POC’s, and the cross-functional project team. The Scrum Master will ensure that the project is aligned with other inter-dependent projects, programs, and stakeholders and will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the projects, ensuring that all milestones and objectives are met effectively and efficiently. By maintaining strong lines of communication and a collaborative spirit and can work together to achieve our project goals successfully.
Implementing Agile Framework Optimization Implement Agile best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, PI Planning Board administrations , Internal Consulting).
Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Identify and resolve team-level impediments while escalating organization-wide barriers appropriately.
Providing Mentorship & Agile Coaching Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams.
Conduct Agile training sessions and workshops to strengthen Agile adoption across the organization.
Administering & Optimizing Atlassian Tools Configure, customize, and optimize JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence to support Agile workflows.
Develop and maintain custom JIRA workflows, fields, dashboards, and automation rules to enhance team productivity.
Generating Executive Reports & Dashboards Build and maintain dynamic and insightful dashboards in JIRA and Confluence to provide real-time visibility into Agile team performance.
Translate Agile metrics into meaningful executive reports that drive informed decision-making.
Develop tracking mechanisms to measure Agile maturity and team efficiency over time.
Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for Agile success.
Tracking Performance Metrics & Driving Continuous Improvement Define and track Agile performance metrics, including sprint velocity, cycle time, lead time, and team capacity utilization.
Monitor and analyze team performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Leading Team Development
Act as a servant leader for the development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) to maximize team effectiveness.
Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile principles and practices, promoting self-organization and accountability.
Education And Work Experience:
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with at least 3 years in a senior or enterprise-level role.
Proven experience in Agile transformations and process improvements at an organizational level.
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other enterprise Agile methodologies.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certifications, preferred.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an enterprise or fast-paced environment, preferred.
Experience with Agile frameworks beyond Scrum (Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.), preferred.
