The Workflow Developer will be responsible for the development of high-quality SAP Master Data and Transactional Workflows using SAP tools and utilities. Developer should understand best practice Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with an Agile approach, in a multi-instance SAP environment. Resource will focus on stability, cost effectiveness, and SLA-based delivery.
Responsibilities:
The Workflow Developer will ensure adherence to, creation and/or enhancement of Development Governance, including but not limited to standards, best practices, guidelines. Ability to evaluate and select off the shelf commercial WF solutions and integrate into client ecosystem. In addition, the Workflow Developer role is to continuously provide innovative solutions by understanding industry trends and applying them to project needs through proof of concepts.
• Designs, develops, and maintains SAP Business Workflows and ABAP Web Dynpro applications.
• Develops the workflow tools - workflow Builder, Business Object Builder and UWL
• Develops reports, workflows, and metrics within the software environment.
• Designs, develops, codes, and tests complex programs for SAP modules and functions using ABAP programming language.
• Creates specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming languages.
• Develops all RICEF objects and troubleshoots using own ABAP skills.
• Maps technical business needs to architectures, standards, and reusable assets
• Debugs and corrects SAP module problems using ABAP programming language to implement OSS notes.
• Contributes to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed.
Requirements
• Candidate should have 6 to 9 years of experience in SAP ABAP Workflow.
• Hands on experience in CDS objects, AMDP Procedures, OData services, SAP Workflow development, ABAP OOPS.
• Experience in RICEF related to ALE/EDI/IDOCS interfaces.
• Experience in User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, new enhancement framework.
• General technical and functional understanding of SAP FICO, SD, and MM transactions.
• Advanced understanding of SAP master data in ECC and S/4 environments.
Primary Skills
• Hands on experience in SAP Workflow development.
• Knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori will be an added advantage.
Secondary Skills
• Good analytical skills and should be able to communicate with Business and Project teams articulating business requirements in technical solutions.
