Sales Team Leader – Industrial Sectors | Nordics (Remote/Hybrid)
Are you a commercially driven sales leader with a passion for leading high-performing technical teams? We’re partnering with a global engineering solutions provider to find a Sales Team Leader – Industrial Sectors to drive growth across the Nordic region.
This is a key leadership role overseeing a team of Field Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Engineers, focused on delivering technical solutions across automotive manufacturing, food manufacturing, heavy industries, oil & gas, mining, and water & wastewater sectors.
The Opportunity
As Sales Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of the commercial strategy across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. You’ll lead from the front—developing your team, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities in complex industrial markets.
This role offers a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on commercial execution, with visibility across a wider European structure and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical sales professionals across the Nordic region
- Drive revenue growth through business development and account management
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market presence
- Monitor and report on sales KPIs (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Own forecasting and sales planning using business intelligence tools
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple industrial sectors
- Collaborate with regional and EMEA teams to support growth initiatives
- Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
- Ensure a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and customer focus
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading and developing technical sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen across sales strategy, business development, and account management
- Background in selling technical or engineered solutions (e.g. process equipment, capital equipment, or similar)
- Experience working within industrial sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, or water industries
- Ability to operate effectively in a regional/multinational environment
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent technical/industry experience)
- Fluent in English
