WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are seeking a new colleague to manage our operations in Nordic and Baltic regions, either based in Denmark or Sweden. The key crops for this position are carrots but also include leeks, lettuce, celeriac, and squash. As Sales Specialist Vegetable Seeds your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, reviewing, adapting, and executing annual sales.
- Introducing company products and services to customers including pre-commercial trials.
- Building long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers.
- Providing market, price, and product insights to support marketing and sales planning.
- Enhancing market intelligence and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Supporting Global and Regional Crop Teams with insights and knowledge.
- Organizing promotional activities such as demo fields, campaigns, and events.
- Contributing to trial programs and supporting new variety introductions.
- Collaborating with Product Development to provide technical support and growing concepts.
Please note for this position:
- You will be expected to work extended hours during peak season.
- Requires regular regional travel and occasional international travel.
WHAT YOU OFFER
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified with extensive and relevant experience in agriculture and sales. Experience required:
- Strong background in sales within the agricultural industry.
- Familiarity with regional agricultural practices.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong collaboration skills, market knowledge, and a commercial mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Demonstrated professional initiative, autonomy, accountability, and a customer-focused outlook with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Danish or Swedish and professional proficiency in English.
