A leading international food group with strong global presence across Asia, Europe, and the Americas is expanding its footprint in the European market. As part of this growth, the company is seeking motivated Sales Representatives to support business development in Retail and Food Service channels and drive market penetration in Asian food categories.
This is a permanent contract position, available immediately, offering strong career potential within a growing international environment.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Food Service Sales Manager – Northern Eastern Region, the Sales Representative will be responsible for developing business across a designated territory and increasing distribution in Asian Restaurants, Retailers, and Food-service segments. The role involves identifying new customers, promoting product ranges, securing listings, and supporting brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership and management of sales development within a large regional territory.
- Expand product distribution and grow sales across Asian restaurants, chains, and retail stores.
- Introduce new product innovations and present tailored solutions for different customer needs.
- Conduct market research, competitor tracking, and insight-based analysis to support strategy.
- Acquire new customers, particularly within Asian restaurants & specialty supermarket segments.
- Organize and conduct tasting sessions and demonstrations to support product adoption.
- Represent the brand at regional, national, and international trade fairs and events.
- Actively contribute to the strategy and commercial development of the assigned region.
- Secure product listings and negotiate agreements with food-service and retail partners.
- Promote brand awareness and build strong long-term customer relationships.
- Frequent travel within region and occasional travel within Europe.
Required Profile
- Minimum senior vocational education (MBO Level 4 or equivalent) in Commercial or Business Studies.
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the Asian food or foodservice industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Asian culinary culture and food trends.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently from a home office environment.
- High willingness to travel frequently.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Fluency in English and the local regional language; knowledge of an Asian language is a plus.
