About TietAI

TietAI is building the AI-native integration layer for European healthcare. Our platform, Hydra Connect, solves one of healthcare's most persistent problems: fragmented, siloed data that blocks AI adoption and slows down care delivery.

We unify HL7, FHIR, X12 EDI, and openEHR data through a GDPR-by-design platform with 78+ pre-built AI agents that automate what traditionally takes 12-18 months of integration work—delivering results in 2-3 weeks. As the European Health Data Space (EHDS) reshapes the regulatory landscape, we're positioned to become the infrastructure layer hospitals need to achieve compliance while unlocking the value of their data.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a founding Head of Sales / VP of Sales to build and lead our commercial function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join at the earliest stage, shape go-to-market strategy, and directly impact company trajectory.

You'll be our first dedicated sales hire—working directly with the CEO and founding team to turn a strong technical product into a scalable commercial engine.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle: From prospecting hospital CIOs and CDOs to negotiating enterprise contracts and closing deals
  • Build the GTM playbook: Define ICP, sales process, pricing strategy, and channel partnerships for the European healthcare market
  • Open new markets: Lead expansion into key EU markets (Spain, Nordics, DACH, Benelux) with a land-and-expand approach
  • Develop strategic partnerships: Build relationships with system integrators, EHR vendors, and consulting firms
  • Hire and scale: As we grow, recruit and mentor a high-performing sales team
  • Represent TietAI: Speak at conferences, lead demos, and position us as thought leaders in healthcare interoperability and AI
What We're Looking For

Must-have:

  • 7+ years in B2B enterprise sales, with at least 3 years selling into healthcare providers (hospitals, health systems, clinics)
  • Track record of closing 6-7 figure deals with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of healthcare IT landscape: EHRs, interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR), and data platforms
  • Experience selling technical/infrastructure products to technical and non-technical buyers (CIOs, CMIOs, IT Directors, Procurement)
  • Comfort with early-stage environments—you've built processes from scratch, not just inherited them
  • Fluency in English; additional EU languages (Spanish, German, French, Nordic) strongly preferred
  • Based in EU or willing to travel extensively within Europe

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with GDPR, EHDS, or healthcare compliance frameworks
  • Background in AI/ML products or data platforms
  • Existing network of hospital executives or healthcare IT decision-makers
  • Startup experience (Series A or earlier)
