About the Company:

Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality animal protein ingredients to the pet food industry. With a strong reputation for product quality and technical expertise, the company partners with major pet food manufacturers across Europe.


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage existing key accounts and drive new business development across the European pet food market. This is a remote role with regular travel across the region. The ideal candidate will be based in the Netherlands or Germany.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across Europe.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with pet food manufacturers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in the pet food, animal nutrition, or related B2B ingredients sectors.
  • Strong network within the European pet food industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent business development and account management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, Dutch, French) are an advantage.
