Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage existing key accounts and drive new business development across the European pet food market. This is a remote role with regular travel across the region. The ideal candidate will be based in the Netherlands or Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across Europe.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with pet food manufacturers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with technical and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Key Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in the pet food, animal nutrition, or related B2B ingredients sectors.
- Strong network within the European pet food industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent business development and account management skills.
- Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, Dutch, French) are an advantage.
