The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Director of Sales & Business Development to drive new business growth and help shape how we bring our offering to market.

This is a highly strategic, consultative sales role for someone who:

  • Has experience selling complex influencer marketing or media solutions
  • Is comfortable engaging senior marketing and commercial leaders 
  • Can translate marketing into business outcomes
  • Wants to play a meaningful role in building and scaling a high-growth business

You won’t just sell, you’ll help define how we position creator-led media as a performance channel.

Your Role:Lead Consultative Selling in the Chicago Market
  • Own and drive the full sales process from prospecting through close
  • Lead discovery and shape opportunities with brands and agencies 
  • Sell into complex organizations with multiple stakeholders
Build & Sell Strategic Solutions
  • Translate client needs into tailored, insight-driven programs
  • Partner with internal teams to develop proposals that connect content, media, and performance
  • Lead and respond to RFPs with clear, compelling narratives
Engage Key Decision-Makers 
  • Build relationships with marketing & shopper marketing stakeholders
  • Lead strategic conversations around:
  • Media investment
  • Performance outcomes
  • Full-funnel impact
Drive Pipeline & Revenue Growth
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Navigate long sales cycles and move deals forward with urgency
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
Shape How We Sell
  • Help refine how we position and package our offering
  • Contribute to evolving our sales narrative and go-to-market strategy
  • Bring market feedback into how we develop and sell our solutions
What You Bring
  • 7–10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client leadership
  • Proven experience selling complex, multi-service influencer marketing or media solutions
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Paid media (social, programmatic, retail media, etc.)
  • Marketing performance and measurement (ROAS, incrementality, etc.)
  • Experience managing long, consultative sales cycles
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
Important Considerations:
  • Experience in retail media, shopper marketing, or commerce marketing
  • Background in influencer marketing or creator-led content
  • Existing relationships within CPG, retail, or major agency networks

Compensation:
  • Base salary: $100,000-$130,000 (flexible based on experience)
  • Performance-based commission uncapped with significant upside ($100K+)
