Job Description
Lead the organization supporting STAAR’s distributor-driven European markets, with direct responsibility for a team of Area Managers and Regional Marketing. Provide strategic direction and ensure the effective execution of growth initiatives to achieve and exceed sales and financial targets.
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within their defined market/territory.
- Responsibility for top-line and bottom-line annual Business Plan for defined market/territory.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive partnership programs at a business level and to collaborate with national and regional chains.
- Build, expand and maintain strong, long-lasting KOL’s relationships to improve the technology positioning.
- Partner with key customers to understand their business needs, trends and strategic direction of accounts.
- Regular review of procedures to improve efficiencies and assure incorporation of updates. Ensure compliance with local and global STAAR policies.
- Reporting Management of P&L according to defined annual targets, regular reporting at regional and global level.
- Liaise with local marketing and clinical to coordinate marketing activities for the define market/territory.
- Proactively assesses, monitoring and validates these processes with the regional teams on a frequent basis, be an mentor.
- Partner with Area Managers to develop, to deploy and educate practice development tools and programs for Distributors, physicians and clinic coordinators.
- Work in a cross functional environment and Distributors to ensure a knowledge and usage of the STAAR Surgical programs (Alliances, PD, educational) and successfully implement action plans for increased adoption of the Technology in practices.
- Develop and implement business plan for new Hybrid Business model (Scandinavia) for future growth.
- Top level involvement to create value for the EMEA strategic Team to accelerate EMEA growth.
Your profile
- Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, business administration desirable, or equivalent
- Special Knowledge: Knowledge of medical devices in ophthalmology
- Proven sales management & leadership experience, and meeting on achievable targets
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
- Experienced manager within ophthalmic market
- Leadership and Management skills

Professional Experience
