Job Description
As a Marketing & Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team. You will assist in marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. This part-time role (2-3 days per week) offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely with occasional on-site or travel requirements. Your proactive mindset, attention to detail, and communication skills will be key to supporting internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
You will manage and update JIACO Instruments’ online presence, including social media channels and the company website. You will create engaging content—such as text, images, and short videos—and ensure that the latest news and product updates are well communicated.
In addition, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to plan and execute campaigns, coordinate materials for trade shows and conferences, and ensure timely shipment of promotional materials and equipment. You will also handle logistics and shipping coordination, arranging transportation of our machines and instruments, keeping track of deliveries, and ensuring all documentation is in place.
Your role will also involve administrative support, such as maintaining organized records, assisting the sales team with research and data entry, and following up on customer inquiries.
What You Bring
- You have a background in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or relevant experience in a similar role.
- You are familiar with social media management and content creation (LinkedIn, Twitter, WordPress, or similar platforms) and have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- You are proactive, able to work independently, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
