🔍 Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Retail SME to join our AI training and model evaluation team. You’ll help ensure AI systems truly understand real-world retail operations—across merchandising, supply chain, store management, and customer experience.
This is a part-time, fully remote role where your industry expertise directly influences next-gen AI solutions like:
- Virtual retail assistants
- Demand forecasting engines
- Customer insight & analytics tools
🧠 What You’ll Do
- Act as the retail domain expert during AI model training
- Validate and annotate retail datasets (products, pricing, inventory, promotions)
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, logic, and real-world relevance
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product, and analytics teams
- Help refine workflows for sales optimization, forecasting, and engagement
- Stay ahead of retail + AI trends and apply them to model improvements
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 7–12 years of experience in retail (merchandising, supply chain, e-commerce, store ops, category management)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end retail workflows
- Ability to translate real business processes into structured logic/data
- Familiarity with ERP, POS, CRM, inventory systems (nice to have)
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts like data annotation or model evaluation is a plus (not mandatory)
