Position Summary
The Resource Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Resource Management Office (RMO) by coordinating resource assignments, maintaining accurate data, and facilitating communication between project managers, consultants, and delivery teams. This role is key to optimizing resource utilization and ensuring project staffing needs are met.

Essential Functions
- Assist in assigning resources to projects based on availability, skills and project needs.
- Monitor and update resource schedules to reflect timelines and priority changes.
- Coordinate with project managers to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain real-time visibility of resource capacity and project pipeline.
- Keep resource management systems updated with accurate availability and assignments.
- Generate and distribute resource projection reports.
- Communicate assignment changes and conflicts promptly.
- Facilitate weekly staffing meeting with delivery teams.
- Support resource onboarding and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with resource management guidelines.
- Assist in implementing new resource management tools.
- Assist in skills inventory maintenance to meet business needs.
- Assist in identifying skills gaps.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and service delivery teams to align client needs with the appropriate solutions.
- Share insights and feedback from clients to contribute to the continuous improvement of service offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or similar preferred.
- 2–4 years in resource or project coordination, preferably in professional services.
- Experience with cross-functional teams and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in resource management tools (Certinia preferred).
- Understanding of professional services operations and project lifecycles.
- Knowledge of capacity planning and forecasting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
