Your writing will inform, entertain, and empower audiences, creating a meaningful connection between cultures and communities. You’ll play a key role in shaping content strategies that drive traffic, enhance visibility, and ensure our stories resonate online.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write compelling, SEO-friendly articles covering Spanish and international news stories.
- Collaborate with the editorial and digital teams to develop content that aligns with our mission and core values.
- Optimise articles for search engines to increase visibility, engagement, and audience reach.
- Conduct research and interviews remotely to uncover authentic and impactful stories.
- Fact-check information and verify sources to maintain accuracy and credibility.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high editorial, journalistic, and SEO standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a writer or journalist with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Demonstrated expertise in SEO and content optimisation.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
- Passion for community, culture, and social integration topics.
