Job Description:

Data Modeler Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into long-term data model solutions.
• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models34.
• Implement data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
• Evaluate and optimize existing data systems for efficiency and cross-compatibility.
• Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Collaborate with development teams to create data flows and implement data warehouses.
• Update and optimize local and metadata models.
• Troubleshoot and fine-tune data systems for optimal performance.
• Work with business intelligence and analytics teams to create efficient, reusable semantic models.
• Ensure data integrity and eliminate redundancy in data structures
  
  

Data Modeler Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard data modeling methodologies and tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with data warehousing, big data platforms, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
