As a Remote Service Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this dynamic industry, providing remote diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair for EV charging systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical Support with a Twist: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with EV charging systems via phone, email, and remote access. You'll be the go-to person for Field Service Engineers and customers, managing everything from initial troubleshooting to final resolution.
  • Master Case Management: Take charge of escalated cases from First Line Customer Support, guiding them from start to finish, and ensuring our customers always receive top-tier service.
  • Innovative Troubleshooting: Use your creativity and technical expertise to solve complex problems remotely, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and within SLA timelines for our Key Accounts.
  • Strategize On-Site Interventions: Plan and support on-site interventions with service partners or field engineers, customizing solutions to meet the specific needs of each region.
  • Lead in the Field: Coordinate field service activities, ensuring products are tested and performing at their best post-service, and keeping customers informed every step of the way. Assess and define the scope of work for our Field Engineers.
  • Proactively Escalate: Know when to escalate issues to Tier 3 support, ensuring every challenge is met with the right expertise.
  • Mentor and Train: Share your knowledge by guiding First Line Customer Support teams and leading training sessions to empower others and build a stronger, more inclusive team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical Background: A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience in maintaining or designing electrical installations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities in English, with a knack for working effectively in diverse, multicultural teams. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus!
  • Independence and Initiative: You’re a self-starter who loves working independently and is always looking for ways to learn and grow in this fast-paced field.
  • Curiosity and Problem-Solving: A naturally curious, solution-oriented mindset, eager to tackle challenges and develop sustainable solutions, even when facing uncertainty.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: You thrive in fast-changing environments and excel when facing new challenges.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively, whether through training sessions, newsletters, or webinars.
  • Technical Savvy: Familiarity with technical support roles, electrical installations, and Linux is a plus and will help you excel in this role.
